Any of the states here in New England are absolutely gorgeous this time of year and throughout the winter. Of course, the winters get quite cold, but it's worth it, and there's still plenty of things to do. The summer time is perfect. It usually never gets hotter than 80, or so, and on the hottest day the temperature doesn't usually exceed 100 degrees. I live in New Hampshire and I love it here. Almost all the leaves have changed to their beautiful fall shades of yellow, orange, and red. The nature here is great, too. There's deer, bears, and beautiful birds. Vermont is also very nice, but I think Maine would be my favorite of the New England states. My grandmother is an innkeeper at an inn on the coast in Camden, Maine, and she's been the innkeeper at many other inns in the area in the past. It's just so incredible near the ocean at this time of year. I can't wait to go up there for Thanksgiving (the inns closed to guests, so our family gets the place to ourselves!)
If you're just looking for a new place to vacation, I'd suggest Maine. But for a place to live, I love it here in New Hampshire. I love to travel, and it can get very cold in the winter here, but I don't think I'll ever move to another state. It's a great place to raise children. If you were concerned about jobs, consider the southern part of New Hampshire or Massachusetts.
Hope I could help!

New York State -- The Hudson Valley is an incredibly beautiful place.
It snows, but it generally doesn't get horribly cold in the Hudson Valley like it does in the Midwestern states. You would get that Midwest cold in a place like Buffalo, NY or Rochester, NY, though, so stay in the eastern part of the state.

desirable when you consider that anybody is familiar with that being called desirable is a lot extra significant then warm! warm in a number of of situations comes up at the same time as a guy in difficulty-free words thinks you've an outstanding body. handsome might want to be a unusual remark. attractive is a touch weak. unique might want to also be very flattering.

Michigan, my dad always said if you don't like the weather here in Michigan wait a few minutes and it will change. There are many beautiful sights in Michigan from the Upper Pennisula to the Lower Pennisula depending on what you are looking for.

Think you are still in for cold winters there, Vermont is pretty, but Tennessee has the milder winters and we still get a little snow and have beautiful mountains, lots of trees, bluffs and over looks.
