Ive heard american referring to the english as lousy tippers. Guess what? we are. I dont believe in tipping unless the service has been above and beyond. Tipping for every beer you buy or meal you get is crazy. I was in a bar in san francisco and asked for a beer and paid the guy. He was miserable as sin and did'nt even say thankyou when i paid. He looked at me and said "no tip" and all the yanks with me were suprised i didn't tip. Tipping someone is a sign of good faith and should not be the norm. Expecting a tip is bang out of order. I hear "but they dont get paid very much". When i was younger i had a job where the pay sucked, so you know what i did. i got another job, genius hey.

Hi,

I'm going to move in the Tampa bay area, and I'd like to know which city would be the best for me:

Tampa
St. Petersburg
Clearwater
Bradenton
Largo
or Sarasota
... or another city?

I'm looking for a city where the housing is affordable, and the unemployment rate low.

Thank you in advance! :-)

Im takin a greyhound to another state, the ride itself is going to be well over 24hours. what my question is, is whats the longest road trip youve been on? and what did you do to pass the time? And i would take a plane, but unfortunately where i reside now, our airport is only for military usage. so i have no choice but to take the bus.

I'am in the process of getting my papers through my mom who is getting her greencard through her father who is a U.S citizen, just for the sake of having the option to live in both places. She is telling me that I will not like the U.S and will want to come back home after a while...so do you think this is true? Is living out there that much different from where I'am from toronto? I visit Florida, New york and California often and I like what I see but we all know visting and living somewhere are two opposite things..what are your opnions? will it be complete Culture shock for me making this move or will I adjust fine seing how I'am coming from Canada?
