A good site to plan a trip?

I am looking for a site that will let me determine my own route for a trip and then get the travel time and distance. The ones I seem to find plan the route for my by shortest distance or quickest time. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you :)

I use Delorme Street Atlas. I do just what you describe. You can set it for travel speed, type of roads, quickest, shortest etc. etc. For not much more money you can also get an earthmate USB unit for your laptop that will make your laptop a GPS system and will track your route. Check e-Bay for some good buys.
