As a former resident of Odessa, TX. , I would search for comparable tickets from Indianapolis to Hell... and you can pretty much figure that the tickets to Odessa would be less.

But, if anyone from Odessa, is reading this, I'm not referencing you. The problem with Odessa is that once you go there, for some God Awful reason, you stay. Not because you want to, it just happens that way. I guarantee you, the first thing you'll notice when you step out of the airport doors will be the smell. Because of the oil production there, it smells like rotten eggs. Only thing is, after you've been there a while, you don't even notice it anymore... and worse, you won't even notice that you now smell of rotten eggs too. By the way, if you do go, the one break in the monotany would be a night out at the Neon Moon. It's a night club that performs Karaoke 7 nights a week. Very entertaining if you're into that type of thing. That's about all I can say good about Odessa. Except for the people. They are some of the best people you'll come across in Texas. But then again... they have some interesting people you might do best to stay away from.

Odessa? Have a nice trip. However it goes, you will definately have a story to tell when you get back home... that is, IF you get back home... Like I said, it has a way of latching on to you and not letting go. Just ask anyone there. Good Luck.

I have had a lot of luck with smartertravel.com

Also if you check locally, there are always people trying to unload miles and free tix from airlines like Southwest, American Airlines and United.
I would also look on individual airline sites for their "last minute' airfares.

Check out Kayak.com I checked out both of the sites, the other answer you got, and if you book in advance on either one it looks like it will be between $174. and $176. one way out of Indy.

Hello

Go to http://www.grab2travel.com
Go to Flights

Use SmartSearch to compare air rate by entering trip detail once. You dont have to enter it again and again. You can compare rate on major travel site from one place...
