We're young and are considering relocating from the Chicago area. The summers are too hot and humid and the winters are too long and cold.

We'd love a middle ground where there are reasonable season changes. A touch of snow wouldn't be the worst, but six months of winter is just too much. Hot weather at 90F or so is tolerable so long as the humidity isn't 100%.

So...

Nice weather, safe neighborhood, good enough job market, and perhaps even a home/townhome in the $150K range? Does it exist?

I know this is part of the business but as a travel agent i get great deals and don't charge a fee. When I give my clients the price they are happy because it is so low but they wait days sometimes weeks before they say "ok I'm ready to book" then the price is almost double. Then I loose the sale because now its too high. If the price is good, why not pay your deposit then. Why do people wait until the last minute?

I have been thinking of moving from San Diego to Fort Dodge, IA. Will I have a hard time adjusting to life in Iowa if I'm from San Diego? I want to move there for college. What will be different in IA compared to California?

Hey well I don't get it. They claim to allow pets, but they said I wasn't allowed to have a snake in my room, and that I wasn't allowed to stay there anymore. They said it's because of something about that they believe my python consumed one of their maids. It was all her fault anyways. If she wouldn't of come in to clean the bathroom then it wouldn't of happened if it happened. For all they know she could of decided to quit, and leave town even though her car was still in the lot. Just because her cart was found in my room they're trying to blame it on my snake.

My husband and I are leaving tomorrow morning for a road trip (about 1.5 hours one way) for 2 days. It's a concert. What am I forgetting? I have my dress, shoes, phone, some toiletries so far (I'll need those tomorrow), cards and chips, still need to get munchies and ice at the store, money, there's too much to think about! Large amounts of "petroleum" and "uranium" in Darfur region are the real reason why he is making a big fuss. Tribal conflict had been going for more than 10 years, economy is not helping. Also due to suffering residue from Africa's 1970's famine. People die of hunger in the region more than Zaghawa-Fur tribes conflict based on robbery.

What happened in Iraq war? we got fooled by WMD. Middle Easterners are seen inferior, as well as African Americans to former crackhead, current president G.W.
