My husband and I are leaving tomorrow morning for a road trip (about 1.5 hours one way) for 2 days. It's a concert. What am I forgetting? I have my dress, shoes, phone, some toiletries so far (I'll need those tomorrow), cards and chips, still need to get munchies and ice at the store, money, there's too much to think about! This is our first weekend away in a year!

Why bother taking anything but the BARE essentials? Itg's only an hour and a half away, why are you taking munchies, etc. Sounds like you are going on a cross-country trip. If this is your first weekend away (together) in a year, enjoy each other instead of worrying about what you might forget. Leave the phone at home or turn it off. Be creative and turn him on! Just take what you need to dress up for the concert.

First:check online for the local weather; pack a jacket,sweater,etc.Second:lounging clothes Third:Dont forget the concert tickets!Fourth: You have a set of car keys and your husband have a set of car keys. Fifth:Fill the car up,check the tires,oil the night before you leave.Sixth:Directions Have a great time

you'll need something to sleep in, extra underwear and at least on more outfit (you never know) and an umbrella couldn't hurt (if its in a rainy area then also bring extra socks) also don't forget toilet paper, sure most public restrooms have them, but don't take your chances in case the only one you come across is in a not so clean gas station.

umbrella, aspirin, clothespin to keep the hotel drapes closed, sweater just in case, printed directions.
