What roads in New York have a posted 60 MPH speed limit? Most are 55; upstate interstates are 65, NYC is 50. Where's 60 in all this?

I recently got a job at JFK and have to relocate. Any suggestions as to a good area to live that is convenient? I looking to pay no more than $1000 a month and hopefully be near a subway to get to the airport.

I just signed a 1 year lease on an apartment on Franklin ave in crown heights just below Eastern Parkway. I was wondering if it was a safe area...Ive heard mixed things. does nyc penn station have a area where you can keep your luggage? i have to be out of my hotel by noon and my train doesn't leave until 4pm! i don't want to sit around the train station for 4 hours waiting, but i sure don't want to carrying my luggage around to restaurant/stores.

I am having the hard time trying to decide where to move: Northern California,Washington D.C,New York City,or Florida. My friend wants me to move to Ny with him. I want to live in an enviroment with many thing to offer. Here is what I am looking for in the place I choose to live.

I am looking for a neighborhood with a low crime and it must be affordable with easiest access to the city. I do not want to live in the city and some where thats does not get really cold. I am trying to get my feet in the international relation field and have a bachelor degree in Social Sciences from Harvard. I really want to use my degree.

I have already stay in several states from long periods. I just want to find the right place for me. I would appreciate any information you can give me.
