NYC is always going through a gentrification process. I think it might be time to invest in a studio in Bushwick Brooklyn. Williamsburg has slowly spread to East Williamsburg in terms of being hip. Do you think this will continue to Bushwick?

'East Williamsburg' is/was Bushwick, so yes. When I moved to the South Side of WIlliamsburg years ago, I NEVER thought it would change all that much. It was pretty crappy, lots of empty lots and abandoned buildings, drugs and junkies all over. I was one of 2 white people in a building of 33 apartments. The building is now more than half white and they're tearing down every other building around me and putting up luxury condos. My roommate and I used to stare at any other young white person we saw in the neighborhood because we thought it was 'exciting' to see them. I'm talking about the Lorimer stop on the L train. Now it's non-stop hipsters and yuppies.
If they are moving to into Bed-Stuy now, Bushwick is already the 'new' Williamsburg.

I second what Pico has to say. I lived in Williamsburg & Greenpoint for nearly a decade and witnessed massive changes that have already headed east.... and it's not really about moguls developing (the 2nd answer you received), it's about who is forced to look further on the outskirts of cool neighborhoods.
