Go to the old country, the historic section of Williamsburg. Its like an old town with museum type attractions, restored houses and shops and also outdoor presentations.

Then you gotta go to Busch Gardens, the best amusement park on the east coast. it has the best roller coaster type rides of any, the Lock Ness Monster, The Big BAd Wolf, and Alpen Geist. Then also go to Water Country USA a water park that is now associated with Busch Gardens (you can buy passes for admissions to both parks) While at Busch Gardens tour the brewery and have a free beer.

Then go to the pottery where you can shop 'til you drop. They have everything you could possible want.

Finally go to Captain George's Seafood Restaurant for the biggest and best seafood buffet you could ask for.

Williamsburg has hotels/motels galore, every chain hotel you can think of and many more. They are all conveniently located so any will do to put you right near all of the attractions. Use Hotels.com, Expedia, and/or travelocity to search for them.

Besides the Colonial Williamsburg, you must go to Jamestown Settlement. If you have kids, Busch Gardens and Water Country USA are a must! Great waterpark! It gets really hot there so make sure you stop at the Dairy Queen after the park or the attractions!
