I am having the hard time trying to decide where to move: Northern California,Washington D.C,New York City,or Florida. My friend wants me to move to Ny with him. I want to live in an enviroment with many thing to offer. Here is what I am looking for in the place I choose to live.

I am looking for a neighborhood with a low crime and it must be affordable with easiest access to the city. I do not want to live in the city and some where thats does not get really cold. I am trying to get my feet in the international relation field and have a bachelor degree in Social Sciences from Harvard. I really want to use my degree.

I have already stay in several states from long periods. I just want to find the right place for me. I would appreciate any information you can give me.

Thanks

Okay if you do not want a place that is cold then NY and DC are out. Snows and gets could there. However if you wanted to get into international relations those are your best cities. NY is the hub of international relations in the US. Had a friend that worked for the UN and loved it! This landed him a job with an international law firm in NY. Great place to make contacts. If you can stand the cold NY is great. There is a ton of stuff to do for all ages. With that said NYC and DC are expensive to live in.

Florida has Miami, I am sure there are some international jobs here. Very multicultural. I lived in Miami for a few years and loved it! Warm and sunny, you do have to watch out for hurricanes. If you want to live in the city, it can get expensive, you can find some nice places in the suburbs pretty resonable. Again you will never get bored there is so much to do. I really liked living here! I would check out the chamber of commerce website and ask for a relocation packet. This is a free service and all the chambers have them. The packets have information on crime stats, job rates, housing cost ect. Very helpful when making your choice. Do your reseach on Miami there are some bad areas just like any other major city. I paid about $1500 for a two bedroom place. Water was about $100, electric was about $200 depending on the month. I had no problem getting a job there.

Cali, I love Cali a lot. I lived in San Diego, and really miss it. Cali is a great state to live in. You can be to the ocean, mountains, in the forest ect. in no time. The cost of living in Cali is very expensive, however the north is a tad cheaper than the south. San Fran is very expensive but, there are some suburbs which are doable. I enjoy going here but, I cannot tell you about the job market. Again contact the chamber or check out sites like monster and yahoo jobs, see what is listed for the area. San Fran can get chilly but, no snow which is nice. The bay keeps it very cool. San Jose is a fun city. I have only been to visit but, the place is great. There is stuff to do, it is a little warmer here, okay well it can get HOT!!!!! North Cali has some beautiful coast line that you will see no where else, summers are good up there because they do not get hot. Cresent City is a small town but, a nice ocean town. I don't know if you could find work there but it is a great place!

if you like the cold than don't move to Northern California or Florida. It rarely snows in either place. If you want low crime and affordable that is not in a city then NYC is not a good place either. DC sounds like the best bet for you even though it's pricey.

As far as job opportunities, it's either NYC or San Francisco. NYC is a larger Metro area so there are more good jobs available. In San Francisco, there are great Tech jobs, yet not so much in other fields as far as good jobs.

Darwin made it good - he asked missionaries international extensive what gesticulations distinctive close by human beings used to place across particular and no - the accepted public got here returned with the nod for particular and the shake of the pinnacle from area to area to point no. it incredibly is known that this human trait might have originated from infants turning their heads from area to area to refuse nutrition.

Sounds like you need to be in the outskirts of either Seattle, WA or Portland, OR.
