we've been living in nyc for years now and we wanna move out to a village near to nyc (about half and hour or an hour by train) what would be the best place for us to go? We do love the city, that's why we don't wanna be too far away but I also need some quiet and first of all we wanna live in an own house now! ANY IDEAS?

Ive just found out tonight it's actually WASHINGTON D.C. as the Capital of the US. ??????

How come???

Why then NEW YORK is somewhat more POPULAR city when we say "U.S." and much more often heard from the mouth, compared to the Washington DC???

Im sure as hell everybody i know THINKS that New York is the capital of the US. Im gonna surprise them about this!

I asked my brother and he answered "New York" undoubtingly!

I may be moving to new york city soon and I have no clue where to begin to look for a place to live. I'm on a budget and wold like someplace large enough to turn around in. I will be working in downtown manhattan but don't mind a reasonable commute. Any suggestions?

We've all seen that enormous lobby of New York City's Grand Central Station, with the ticket booths and the clock in the center. Is there a name for that part of the station? The Grand Lobby, or something like that?

I'm not sure if I should take 90 West to 95 and take 95 south all the way to NYC, or if I should take 90 West to 84, then take 84 down to 91, and 91 to 95. The latter route looks like it is a bit straighter, but it may not be faster.

Everyone easily says "craigslist.org" right away, but seriously, about 20 apts on that site are actually in Hoboken. The rest are "in or around". I'm moving from Dallas, so this is difficult not being in the NYC area.
