Go to bartending school. I'm not kidding. You'd make more doing that than anything you're liberal arts degree will get you. 200-500 a night isnt half bad.

Take a civil service job. If you work in corrections, you could earn $50,000 after 10 years. Or sanitation also pays well. Try to get a job with the city. Usually you need to live here first, but not all the time. There is a publication that announces all of the civil service jobs, I think the name of the paper is "The Chief." On Long Island, a few civil service with only a high school degree earn over $100,000. Social skills are a lot more important than book smarts.
