1. famous places to visit: Bronx Zoo, Botantical Garden, Edgar Allen Poe Cottage, Yankee Stadium, there is a muesuem on the corner of 163rd st and Grand Concourse, Woodlawn Cementary (sounds weird I know, but a lot of famous people are buried there and they have tours), Herbert Lehman College (they have concerts and an art gallery)
2 and 3. the boro of the Bronx (which is Dutch for Bronks (spelling is wrong)) is the 2nd largest boro. its area codes are 718 (main one), 646 (usually for cells) and 347. Popular section is Little Italy, which is located in Arthur Ave (great food and good prices). One of the boros its by is Queens, and its a train ride away from Brooklyn and Manhattan.
There are 2 golf courses in the Bronx, one on Pelham Bay Park and the other on Van Courtlandt Park, the beach is Orchard Beach where they have summer concerts for free. City Island is where they have the seafood restaurants. The Bronx is also home to the Fordham University, Manhattan College, Lehman College (City University of New York). On 161st and Grand Concourse (2 blocks from Yankee Stadium) there is the Bronx Walk Of Fame, where famous Bronxites are honored (like Regis Philman, Ace Freely of Kiss, Ashford and Simpson, etc).
4. Most people would meet at the entrance of the Bronx Zoo or the Botantical Garden.

America's great writer Edgar Allan Poe lived on the Grand Concourse in the Bronx. I think 2150 Grand Concourse. Also there is the Bronx Zoo, and Yankee Stadium. The later the most famous sports park in the USA. As far as population, the Bronx has little more than 2 million people, and it is closely aligned with Manhattan. Go to Yankee Stadium.

The Bronx is the only NYC borough that is on the mainland. The only places tourists go are Yankee Stadium (for games) the zoo & botanical gardens; maybe some get lost & go to City Island. It has 2 Universities: Fordham (Catholic) & Yeshiva (Jewish). If you want to meet people stand at the intersection of Fordham Rd & the Grand Concourse.

Tourists usually dont go to the Bronx. Tourists spots would be yankee stadium, and the bronx zoo.
Manhattan in directly south of the Bx, and Queens is to the SE.

.Go to Arthur Avenue aka " The Real Little Italy" and find a good Italian restaurant . Arthur Avenue is located between the Zoo and Fordham U. and if you just happen to be singing a few bars of" Runaround Sue " people will understand
