We are going to NY for the weekend and we found a website that sells the new york pass (www.newyorkpass.com). It sounds like a good idea to save money. Does anyone know anything about this pass? Are they worth the money? Do the attractions honor them like it says? Any info will help! Thanks!

Where do you recommend we stay NY or NJ. (five of us).
Has anyone done the trip. How long did it take, stopping only for food and sleep?Would it be better leaving car at hotel?

What are the best neighborhoods within Brooklyn to live? We want a very "neighborhood feel" with lots of bars, restaurants, cafes, etc..also a safe place. And on the flip side, what areas of Brooklyn should we avoid?

simply speaking, i am a british citizen.. born and raised in london and i work in engineering for a dot com. i would like to move to ny, mainly to pursue my passion for music and to learn.. also for the normal reasons of a change of scenary and to experience nyc life.

i know its difficult to pursue, but am i being unrealistic? can i just move to nyc and try and seek employment (dj'ing would be my short term approach).

this is something i really want to do, but obviously i dont want to return in 3 months none the wiser.

appreciate the help people.

For example, I need to give my friend my location so that she can pick me up. I know that you need to give two street names but I don't get it. This has always confused me!

Hello. My husband and I live in Hoboken, and we're interested in really easy day trips in the NY/NJ area. We just took the bus to the Japanese supermarket in Edgewater and we loved it. Any other recommendations?

We live in Hoboken, and have easy access to PATH, Light Rail, NJ Transit, and of course the NYC subway system. We don't have a car, so we would need to find places that are accessible by public transportation. We're looking for things to do on the weekends (we're newlyweds) that would take no more than about an hour to get to each way.

Do you know of any good places to check out? If so, please provide transportation details, costs, etc. Thanks.
