New York City

For winter break, I'm planning on going to NYC for the holidays probably for a couple of days. Since it's just going to be probably my mom, and my siblings going I was wondering what kind of events happen in the area. I know there's lots of shows and events but does any one know which ones are good to go to?

I've just moved here (last week) and am waiting for some friends to join me in ny next weekend. I am alone and really want to do something interesting/entertaining this afternoon (Sunday) I have already walked my feet off around the shops - so shopping is out. What can I do/where can I go alone today to spend my time constructively? (Museums and galleries I want to save for when my friends arrive.)

hi, I would like to know are there any unique and less touristy events or places in NYC? I am particualrly interested in special things. Thank you so much. Another Question is, I want to see some more popular broadway show like Hair Spray, do you think I will have a chance get a ticket in the booth there?cause purchasing online seems not a very good deal. hi, I am going to NYC from 12/22 to 1/1 and I would like to know how can I can broadway show tickets in the easiest way. Buy i online? or go there and buy it on that day? will it be very hard to get tickets there? How long do we have to wait and how much do the tickets cost if I buy there?
