Their all over. They're in your house also. I can't get traps. because my 1 year old baby will walk into one. And I can't get medicine, because my baby will drink it.

lived here 58 years and never saw a rat yet
guess there are no rats where you live huh
tell you what you move here and pretend you are the pied pieper of hamlin
and lead the billions away from you home by the way your profile says your 15
and you have a baby
you have bigger problems than worring about rats

You really don't see them that much. Mostly, you will see them if you look down onto the subway tracks or they will run across the sidewalk at night in areas with a lot of garbage sitting on the sidewalk. There are some neighborhoods (like my own) where I have never even seen one. I have found the roaches to be a much bigger problem.

You can just get rat traps and other medicine to stop them.

Get real. Any big city has lots of rats. IT is not as if you are stepping over them every second.
