I have friends coming into LaGuardia and staying in Downtown Manhattan, could anyone tell me the price of a taxi or good subway directions...thanks much.

Almost a year ago after hurricane Katrina sent the gas prices soaring, the Taxi Limo Comm wanted to impose a surcharge for fuel, which they promised to revoke it back as soon as the prices go down. It was promised that the surcharge isn't going to be permanent. Did they impose it and if so, did they revoke it back eventually? Was the promise kept?

Question No 2. There's another surcharge being imposed now for slow and stopped traffic. Is this justified?

I heard that you would have to queue to get into the shops on Black Friday. Will be it bad on boxing day? I have not gone to Woodbury before.

I am also planning to take the $30 expresstrails bus there. It sets off at 0930am and leaves at 0400pm. I have a broadway show at 0700pm. Will I make it in time? Will there be jams?

There once was a CB family That in the late 70"s Yammered all Day and all night On that wonderful channel 15. My family moved away in 1977, As we drove out of town, My father at the wheel I spoke on the car mobile radio until I no longer had reception. "Lines on My Face" by Peter Frampton was playing on the car radio.
