My Fiancee is playing a show in NYC tonight at the Knitting Factory & we arent from the city, so we are looking for a nice, not-too-expensive. quiet, romantic restaurant to hit up after his show?

The Knitting Factory is right in the heart of Tribeca and there are so many good restaurants within walking distance:
Odeon - 145 West Broadway - classic NYC "diner" but with an upscale menu. Great cocktails!
Nobu Next Door - less expensive than the main Nobu restaurant, but the same great food
66 - 241 Church Street - Jean Georges Chinese - very cool place, but make sure to ask for a private table for the romance, they do have some communal seating
Ecco - 124 Chambers - great Italian food, a little expensive for the pastas (dinner @$18) but worth it
MaryAnn's - Mexican - I'm not sure if you would consider this place romantic, but they have really good food, it's not expensive and the margaritas are awesome! I've eaten there lots of times.
You can find menus for all of these at www.menupages.com. They allow you to search by neighborhood - just choose "Tribeca" and see if you find something else you like. Another idea might be to call the Knitting Factory and see what they recommend.

Le madeleine on 43rd, bet 9th and 10 ave.... very cozy little bistro for you and your girl. You are going to score some points if you take your girl there.
