I'm going for my honeymoon this Summer in California (hollywood / beverly hills area). I am contemplating hiring a car abroad or taxiing everywhere.

I do not know my way around in California, and also car parking in our hotel would cost approx $200 for the duration of our stay. We stand to save several hundred pounds not hiring a car.

Is it possible to go everywhere by taxi and for it to not cost a fortune? And ideally be cheaper than hiring a car?

We're going somewhere tommorow, in California (southern). But we're thinking on whats more worth while place to go to, is it Disneyland or Universal Studios- I had a recent experience in Universal and I can tell its getting a bit corny... but my other relatives are here so whats more worth while?

I am having my bday party in April, but i need to book a hotel super soon. Does anyone know a hotel in Malibu or Santa Monica that is on the beach that allows 4-5 kids in one room? PLease dont just say "try tripadvisor.com" or something. I am useless with booking this stuff so if someone knows a hotel that allows 4-5 kids in one room with out and adult AND is on the beach, please reply! I know, it has to be really specific and all but it needs to have these things! Thanks SO SO SO much!!!
