you could try Hart Hall in Newhall. Its an LA County Meseum, an old mansion of a slent movie cowboy. Its kind of interesting
(http://www.hartmuseum.org/) and some times they have special events. Cal Arts campus is also a good bet for exhibits and cultural events (http://www.calarts.edu/)

Theres a great mall in Valencia on McBean and Valencia Blvd that has great shopping and resturants. Im not from Valencia but I like close and I am there often so I dont know the ins and outs of it. Valencia is growing so there isnt a meca of things to do like if you were in hollywood.

Six Flags Magic Mountain/Hurricane Harbor is all that there really is to do in Valencia, CA.

You may want to try other places in Los Angeles. Maybe near Hollywood, Santa Monica, etc.

six flags is fun for people who aren't used to it and the mall is ok if u go after 10 on the weekends because otherwise u will be mobbed by crazy slutty junior high students who travel in a pack of 50 restaurants eh nothing extrordinary bars/clubs are practically nonexistant the funnest thing to do is go to hollywood because it's not that far

Unfortunately, Valencia and surrounds are heavily sububan. I don't know of anything beyond strip malls and chain restaurants.

Other than a park, you may have to expand your horizons

inexpensive would not continuously advise inferior. call the Humane Society on your city. no longer the pound, or look after, however the Humane Society. they furnish facilities that are low-fee, they do high quality surgical procedures and could be counseled for the "inexpensive" spay/neuters, vaccinations and different facilities. they're marvelous!
