We're going somewhere tommorow, in California (southern). But we're thinking on whats more worth while place to go to, is it Disneyland or Universal Studios- I had a recent experience in Universal and I can tell its getting a bit corny... but my other relatives are here so whats more worth while?

DISNEYLAND by far! I worked at Universal Studios Hollywood for 9 years. Although it does have some fun movie related stuff, it's a small park with minimal to do. Disneyland is "THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!" And though no matter what time of year you go, it will be crowded, expensive and full of whining, ungrateful kids (mostly of which are still in diapers), it's filled with fun imaginary lands that can bring you back to childhood times.

I live about 30 minutes from disneyland, and it isnt that bad. Its cool because some of the rides are fun and im pretty sure theres a fire works show every night (although that might just be for the summer). During the weekend, disneyland is going to be jam packed though, and lines are going to be very very long. Universal studios is more of a movie themed park, and you can see where they filmed Jaws and pretty much every universal movie. Also, universal studios have a few good rides, and the special effects tour is awesome. If you dont mind waiting in line for most of your day, go to disnelyand, otherwise, universal is your best bet

Disneyland is a better place to go. They are updating a lot of the rides but Universal is lossing impressiveness. Disneyland is especially worth it if you've never been.

No Question about it, Disneyland is the clear winner. It has everything for young and old. Even the kiddie rides are kind of fun for the adults.
While Universal is fantastic, it is not one quarter the time that Disneyland is.

Personally, I prefer Disneyland. There is something for everyone to do there. Universal is fun too. But not as fun as Disneyland. Universal is mostly simulated movies/rides and tours/shows.

Disney land, everyone likes disneyland better. But if you're all into movies, I can see the appeal of Universal.

Than theres additionally downtown disney a super sort of super shops too. I hear that universal isn't that great. I would suggest Disneyland.
