You would think in an area filled with people who spend as large a portion of thier lives in thier cars as Los Angeles they would have as many drive through ATM's as false breasts.

i just went through a drive through ATM in the San Fernando Valley

The lack of space and the amount of traffic make it impractical for many bank branches in So. Cal to have a drive through ATM. Go to any other densely populated urban area such as Manhattan and you will find the same is true. Smaller towns in Southern California have plenty of ATM drive throughs.

Drive thru ATM's do exist in Southern California. Each bank branch makes the decision, based on the volume of customers they serve, if it is cost effective to install a drive up ATM.

Los Angeles is technologically behind the rest of the U.S... Also try to find a drive-through Starbucks- they are few and far between...

PFF has a drive through most of the time.

I live in San Diego and vitrually every bank has a drive thru ATM. I'm from Northern CA and they have very few drive thru ATM's up there.
