Do Casinos teach people how to play poker?

Do they hire people to teach other people how to play poker?

Maybe a training room at the casino.

I don't want to do it online.

I am going to Las Vegas this summer and I would like to take a tour to the Grand Canyon leaving from Las Vegas. Can anyone recommend a tour company that you used? Which part of the rim should I go to? How long did the tour last?

i'm allowing myself $100 a day spending cash. my main goals while in vegas are to gamble, eat and drink (not going to shows or anything). also, you got any money saving strategies that might be helpful while i'm there?

Has anyone, or does anyone have an recommendations on tipping the front desk in order to hopefully get a better room or suite at check in. I have heard rumors that this works. I am going to Vegas in June staying at the Luxor and was hoping to get a nicer room. Any help would be great. Thanks

I am excited about our upcoming first trip to Vegas. I am wondering what I should prebook before we arrive. Or what we should wait to book when we get there. Which will get us the best price/seats, etc
We are looking to do:
Cirque show - probably Ka or Love
Helicopter flight to Grand Canyon
Wax Museum
Eiffel Tower
Speed at Sahara (and the virtual driving thingy)
A comedy show (Harrahs is supposed to be good?!)

thanks.

I've just booked a 5 nights stay at NYNY in Vegas. Can you tell me some good and some cheap places to eat there or nearby? I am looking for your steak specials, seafood specials and good brekkys in particular. Or anything a bit unique too.
Also, what is there to do within the hotel? Do you get free rides on the roller coaster if you are a guest at the hotel?
Thanks.

Im reserving a hotel in a vegas for June (Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat) for 3 people, but all the prices for the hotels I want (MGM Grand, Monte Carlo, New York New York) are all about $230/night.

Is that price reasonable? I keep hearing people say they slept at the MGM in the summer for like $120 and I can seem to figure out how they did so.
