To check room rates you can access every hotel/casino in Las Vegas web site from this one.
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com "VEGAS INFO" >Hotels & Casinos

To compare rates, these are the sites I use
http://www.travelworm.com
http://www.i4vegas.com
http://www.tripres.com

I recommend:

On the strip
Stratosphere
http://www.stratospherehotel.com

Near the strip
Orleans
http://www.orleanscasino.com

Gold Coast
http://www.goldcoastcasino.com

Boulder Hwy
Sam's Town
http://www.samstownlv.com

You might try one of the many Station Casinos
http://www.stationcasinos.com

Downtown LV
Vegas Club
http://www.vegasclubcasino.net

Golden Nugget
http://www.goldennugget.com

If you don't care what your room costs, try these
http://www.mgm-mirage.com
http://www.harrahs.com
Between Harrah's and MGM-Mirage they own most of the 4 star hotels on the strip, and a few others for good measure.

You want to avoid
Gold Spike
Western
Wild Wild West

My quess is the rates are going to be somewhere between absoulutely ridiculous and astronomical.

If you're lucky enough to get a room (which, BTW, I'd book ASAP) you're looking at easily $300 a night minimum for any of the hotels on the Strip.

good luck
you are going to pay high prices as room rates typically go up 60% for big events and quickly sell out
