Does anyone have advice on nail salons on the strip? in walking distance from the hotels(from Harrahs). i am looking for a mid price range asian-like salon where me and my girlfriends can all get pedicures at the same time. i am having a really hard time finding any. thanks for any help.

I will be visiting Las Vegas on a long weekend.I would like to know what all free shows I can see with family on a Saturday and Monday and where are they.What are the timings.We are not into gambling. So what else we can do.Any other attractions? I also intend to go to Grand canyon.

I have probably been to Vegas 50+ times and have never been to Atlantic City but am thinking about checking it out during a trip to Philadelphia this summer.

How do the casinos compare?

Free drinks while gambling?

Are there sportsbooks (I think I heard that there aren't any)?

Do restaurants have really cheap specials like they do in Vegas?

Any shows worth checking out?

If I have comp dollars with Harrahs Las Vegas, can I use that toward meals in the Harrah's property in AC by just showing my Total Rewards card?

What is unique about AC that I should check out during the day or night?

If we go out there for the afternoon and gamble for a few hours, will I want to stick around into the evening?

What might I find disappointing in comparison to Sin City?

Any other comments, suggestions and recommedations are appreciated.

I just got back and saw so many kids I couldnt beleive it. I saw this one baby who couldnt have been more then 9 months fast asleep in a stroller at 11:30pm with the parents who were standing outside Coyote Ugly nightclu (very loud) inside New York New York casino. I have four kids and would never dream of bringing any of them to Vegas, so seeing that baby not tucked in his crib where he should have been outside a nightclub really pissed me off. There arer porn cards allover the ground and people trying to hand them to you on the street this is NOt a place for kids! Please dont bring your kids to Vegas!

I've never been there but it seems like they cater mostly to men. I would suggest some ladies clubs with half naked men walking around. Give us some eye candy!

Please answer ONLY if you've been. In Oct. of this year my hubby & I are going to Vegas primarily to see the NHRA races for 3 days, but also to stay a couple more days and see Vegas (we like slots but don't really play the other card/dice games). I know GN is older but we'll have a car, etc and I have read several reviews online which sound good. Anyone know first hand???? If it was a bad experience, was it just that you had bad luck or have you heard others say the same? THANKS.
