I'm planning to take my wife and two kids, who are 14 and 18, to Las Vegas. I was wondering would Bellagio be a fun place for them, because i have heard a lot about their nice sightseeing and service?

If it were me I would go with the Venetian or Caesars Palace instead. Both are 5 star resorts and cater much more to the family than Bellagio.

The Bellagio has a rule that no one under 18 is allowed> Unless they are with an adult guest of the hotel. This is a real hassle if the kids want to go to the pool, run back up to the room, grab a bite to eat on their own, etc..

Bellagio - no!!! They are awesome for 21 and up, but your 14 year old won't even be able to use the bathrooms on the main floor without getting hassled. Its the only casino that I've seen guards enforcing under 21 so strictly on the main floor. If by chance you really are planning to spend most of your time away from the hotel and just want to stay there to take advantage of their sightseeing & service, then it could be good (because yes - that is top notched) but I was put off by how abrasively they are about allowing kids to walk through the main floor.

You should check into Mandelay Bay or THE HOTEL at Mandelay bay, from what I hear they have a beautiful wave pool that I am sure that they will enjoy.
