grand caynon?

im visiting las vegas for a few nights in august. I want to go to the grand canyon on a day trip. who is the best company to go with,

Just get a car and drive yourself. Its a 5 hour drive each way. But if you leave at about 7:00Am you can be at the Canyon by noon; stay there 4 or 5 hrs and then drive back and be back at your hotel by 11:00PM..

I rented a car as well. Those roads are pretty barren and no cops so you can really make good time getting there whereas on a bus you are sitting with a bus load of asians all day long and it stops at Hoover dam for like 2 hours which is way too long......BTW I have nothing against asians but literally I saw like 6 buses of them at the south rim. There are north rim and west rim (indian reservation) that are much closer but the south rim which is a 4 hour drive doing 90mph the whole way is where the Colorado River srtill runs through and is the place to really see the grand canyon. Good luck!

They have pricey helicopter tours as well for a couple hundred per person but you can rent cars when there right from your hotel in most cases and its cheaper and you can do your own thing.

Grand Canyon is the most breathtaking thing I have ever seen definately worth the trip!

I have gone to the Grand Canyon twice while staying in Las Vegas. If you can afford to spend the money, it is worth it to go to the South Rim by airplane. I used Scenic Airlines both times and was able to get a coupon online to save over $100. Here are websites to check out:
