A very good buffet on the strip that does not cost an arm and a leg is the Mirage for lunch and dinner.

Bally's has the Best Buffet, The Big Kitchen Buffet. Easily the best by far. Star far away from Circus Circus and The Imperial Palace. Both are very dirty. For a romantic view go to the top of the Stratosphere Tower. Unbelievable view day or night. Also check out the Bellagio dancing waters especially at night. Have Fun and Good Luck

There are a lot of things to do in Vegas. I like the Orleans buffet, but there are a lot of buffets out there and they generally cost between $12-30. If you don't know the area, your best bet is to stay in the "strip" area. You can end up in some bad parts of town real quick and not even know how you got there. There are also a lot of fun things to do that don't cost money. The shows on the strip are really cool. I like the one from the TI (Treasure Island) and the water show at the Belagio. If you have any more questions, feel free to e-mail me. I go to Vegas all the time, so I know the area pretty well.

The Sterling Brunch at Bally's is the best. It's Sundays only, 9:30-2:30 and about $60 -- Champagne, Sturgeon caviar and lobster mingle with freshly prepared sushi, omelets and beef tenderloin at our weekend classic that guarantees a diverse dining experience. Tempting desserts and time-appropriate drinks (mimosas, anyone?) round out the selections.
For every other meal, I highly recommend Le Village Buffet at Paris. The selection is amazing and very high quality, gourmet food. Bellagio does a great weekend brunch. Beware the "value" buffets, you will end up eating a lot of fatty prime rib and peeling your own shrimp.
Avoid in Vegas: The shows at Rio, the drunk teenagers on the strip at 2 a.m., and a lady named "Mercedes" at the Olympic Gardens!!

don't gamble at Ballys, go to Stratosphere, or Rio. also, Rio has best seafood buffet! Another great buffet is st the New Orleans. Get the coupon books around. Don't forget to visit Fremont street. across form New york New York, you'll see a Coke bottle building . It opens at noon and you can get great tickets at shows for that night at half price. That day show only! Make sure you go to the Rio! Stay away from the big hotels to gamble in, they make so much money they don't have to draw you in with the better payoff machines.

There is a really nice buffet in the bottom of the Luxor hotel aka the pyramid hotel. Things to avoid would be anyone on the street trying to sell you tickets or programs or anything like that. Seriously stay away from them they will try to get you to buy tickets for cheap but there not real and they will approach you but my suggestion is to keep walking. hope this helped
