My boyfriend and i plan on going to Vegas soon. We are going to sign up for whatever cards the casinos have. Which casino gives the best comps using their card, so maybe we can use the comps towards the price of the room?

I'm considering going to Las Vegas for about 4 or 5 days and I'm considering staying at Cesear's Palace because of the resort atmosphere. I really wouldn't have to leave if I didn't want to. What I'd like to know is how are the rooms? Is the decor modern? On the website the clasic rooms look rather old. If anyone can give or share their opinion, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks!

I'm not trying to be ignorant or rude or disrepectful, i'm just curious if there is an actually part of Las Vagas that is like a regular city with homes and kids and front lawns.

I don't want trash. I want something affordable. October 4-7. I've stayed at the Strat. It's just too far on the other end of the strip. I would rather something on the more populated end of the strip. No kids traveling with us. Any suggestions?

We have 4 girls staying at the Flamingo in July... Do you think if we only had two room keys (only 'reported' 2) all 4 of us could still get into the pool if we brought our own towels?

Do they really check your key?

Hello,

I will be staying in Vegas for the 4th of July for two nights with a ladyfriend, and was wondering which hotel is better, the Luxor, or Tropicana? We are both in our 20's. I have heard the Luxor defined as "Ghetto" but I could think of worse places. I would never stay at NY, NY, Paris, Excalibur, MGM. Thanks

I am looking for an inexpensive store on the strip (preferably near Venetian) where I can buy some inexpensive gifts for family/friends? Any such store in the Fashion Show mall? I am looking for vegas logo'd t-shirts/sweatshirts, shot glasses, toys, etc. I know the gift shops inside the big casinos will likely be pretty pricey.... I will not have a car - so please only suggestions that are ON the strip. Thanks!

In other words, I'm looking for a place that's not too far on the cheap end (i.e. Imperial Palce/Excalibur), or, a super expensive place (i.e. Mandalay Bay, Wynn, Venitian). I want somewhere in between that is still nice and a good value.

I want a place that's preferably no more than $175 a night on the weekend. Any thoughts on The Rio?

Ideally, I want somewhere on the strip and that has a good pool. Any thoughts?

I really wanted to see the Cirque du Soleil production of Ka. I then found out the the last two rows were $70 and any good seat was $100-$150 dollars. Most name performers charge at least $100. I remember when name stars and dinner was $30. Does anyone have any recommendation? Please don't say to see Carrot Top for $55.
