You will never find free Wi-Fi actually in the hotels. All of the strip hotels charge for wireless or wired access. You can usually plan on spending $12-$20 for access in the hotel which is charged to your room bill. Usually this one time charge is for 24 hours only so you will have to pay again should you want access your entire stay. I recommend going to a Starbucks should you want a free wireless hotspot

The only free I know is Burger King. $15 is not bad in Vegas

try starbucks, I never had a problem using my lap top at starbucks. but that was a while ago.
