I am looking for an inexpensive store on the strip (preferably near Venetian) where I can buy some inexpensive gifts for family/friends? Any such store in the Fashion Show mall? I am looking for vegas logo'd t-shirts/sweatshirts, shot glasses, toys, etc. I know the gift shops inside the big casinos will likely be pretty pricey.... I will not have a car - so please only suggestions that are ON the strip. Thanks!

Well there is a store on the corner of Sahara and the Strip that bills itself as the "World's Largest Giftshop" and it is filled to the rim with every trinket you could possibly imagine. However, I have found that much of it is low quality.

Our absolutely favorite gift shop in Vegas is at the Stratosphere. It is called Viva Vegas and it is right at the top of the escalator that leads to the shopping mall above the casino. They always have great deals on tees and sweat shirts and the stuff is of decent quality, especially for $10 sweat shirts.

There is a big CVS Pharmacy on the strip next to the Monte Carlo hotel and right across the street from that is a Walgenes. If you want regular shopping, take the bus on the strip just past the airport to the outlet mall. Or, take the bus or a taxi down to Freemont Street. It has a lot of souvenier shops. Also, at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara is the biggest gift shop in Vegas. Its a ways to walk, just north of the Circus Circus.

Right where the sahara hotel is on sahara and Las Vegas blvd. on the north west corner is a bunch of stores with nothing but souveniers. They sell anything that has to do with las vegas.
All casinos also have souvenier shops with trinkets, I think the best place would be the stratosphere, they have a whole alley way upstairs of stores that sells Las Vegas souveniers

Last time I was there 2005, there was a great $10 boutique in Treasure Island. Take the local bus to Fremont Street there you will find all the Las Vegas souvenirs that you want.
Have fun!

No, the Fashion Show Mall doesn't have a store with "souvenir trinkets"! It may be cheesey, but I agree with the big store on the corner of Sahara and LV Blvd.

A walk to the west on LV Blvd. It is Las Vegas General Store.
Amazing items and prices that will make you crazy. This is the best kept secret in LV. Same side of the street as the Bellagio.

You will thank me for this one.

There's a place right next to the MGM Grand that has tons of stuff. I can't think of the exact name, but I believe it has "Coyote" in it.

I love Vegas!
