They are both impressive properties, and truth be told you'd likely be quite happy at either one. Whichever one you choose, the other is certainly worth a visit while you're in town.

Personally I would go with Bellagio, mainly because its mid-strip location puts you easy walking distance to several other impressive locations such as Paris, Caesar's, Mirage, Venetian, and the newly redone Planet Hollywood (formerly the Aladdin). Aside from that, the one complaint I've heard about Wynn is that some people say it feels a bit "snobby" compared to the Bellagio which welcomes all walks of life with its fabulous free attractions.

Here's a map of the Strip to help you plan:

(For perspective, it's about 5 miles from Mandalay Bay on the south end to Stratosphere on the north end. Also, Stardust is no more, and this map still has Planet Hollywood labeled as Aladdin.)

Have fun and play safe!

I think the Wynn is the newest and was just being finished when I was in Vegas last. I walked through it, it was very nice, but I believe at the end of the strip. The Bellagio is awesome and is connected to a bunch of other hotels. It has the aquarium with the sharks and the dancing fountain out front. Very very cool. The Venetian is right next to the Wynn I believe. It's pretty sweet too. You can go on the gondola rides, the place is painted to look like you're walking down a Venetian street, also very cool. If I were to pick, the Bellagio and the Venetian would probably be my first two choices. I dont' think you can go wrong either way.

They are very similar since they were both designed and built by Steve Wynn. I think Wynn is a tad bit nicer since he took what he learned in building the "B" and added to it to build Wynn. It is also a bit stuffier, however. The rooms at Wynn are better since they are newer but you wont be disappointed with Bellagio either.

If you never stayed in a lake front room at Bellagio, I would go that route since watching the fountains from above gives you a whole new appreciation of the show. I was never really impressed by it until I saw it from the 20th floor.

I have pics of rooms from both place as well as many other on my site at...

I have looked into both and visited both. hand down favorite for me in the Wynn. The rooms and hotel decor are gorgeous. Trust me, if not, go onto Hotels.com and see if you can take a tour of this casino/hotel. It is beautiful.

they are owned by the same person, so both casinos are kinda hard to decide which one is better. They both are cool.
If anything, I think the wynn may be better since its newer.

I prefer the Bellagio, which has more of a classic elegance to it.
