I am sending a small (6x9inch) package to England and I want to know if I have to include a customs form? I have enough stamps for it and I want to just pop the stamps on there and pop it in the post box. Can I do this? It is not heavy at all :)

Been thinking about moving down south for a few years now. I always fancied South Devon but I would like to look at other areas before I make my mind up.

Does anyone have an opinion or could advise me of places to look at in South Dorset?

Ideally it would be in a quietish village or small town near the sea??

2-5 miles away from the sea would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!!

John.

My friend lives in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire (UK) and I'm trying to find out the price for her to come from there to Raleigh, NC. Do you know where I could find out the prices to go from the UK to NC by flight and/or ship? (It'll be best if the prices are in pounds, because I don't know what the currency for the US is in pounds.) The airports she said that's probably best is in Essex or maybe London. It'll be nice to go to a website where i dont have to enter a specific date for flights or searching for flights in general. Just the price.

my partner and i got into a debate about how long the M25 has been opened. also the dartford tunnel.

i said the dartford tunnel had been open longer than motorway, prob about 10+ years longer.

i also said m25 had prob been open about 23 years

also the part of the road that goes through the tunnel is an A road and u join the Motorway by a slip road the other side, when travelling north, he says the motorway carries on through it.

who can settle this arguement

an awful lot depends on it lol

I managed to get in with a staff wrist band last year because they ran out of ordinary ones and I was given loads of free meal tickets because of it. I didn't see my tent for 3 days but I had a really cool time.

United Kingdom is the name of the country (Great Britain is acceptable), but England is not a country. It's a region within the country. Why do people always say England is a country?

Can anyone help my son for his school project, He has to research Judge Jeffreys ('Hanging Judge'). The area we are stuck on finding info. on is the four dog statues on what was the old gateway to Acton Hall in Wrexham (the family estate), Apparently the dogs are significant to the family. If anyone knows of any pictures on the net (we found a very small one on Google), please let us know
All the very best Nick (and Sam).
