There is an outdoor pool for the kids in Rhyll which is only about 5 miles away. Thats good if the weather is fine. There are a couple of railways. The pfestiniog (which I know I have spelt wrong) is ok but don't go all the way just go half way. It takes forever and the kids get bored. Theres the Blue Planet aquarium and chester zoo but they are about an hour away. Try contacting the tourist information. I'm sure when you get there the staff will be able to give you plenty of ideas. Don't forget there will also be a lot to do on site such as kids clubs and competitions. Have a good holiday x

I've been to the Pontins there many many times as a child! For one, Wales is amazing (but I am biased as I am Welsh through and through). Plenty of things to do around, but in all fairness, if you are going to Pontins there is no need to leave the site! So much on for the kids! I always loved it and my parents loved the break too! Enjoy your holiday!

Its very nice, especially if you like walking in rugged countryside. The only downside I found, was that some of the locals were anti-English, and had a chip on their shoulder about the Welsh language.
