Can I exchange my american license in the UK?

I am moving to the UK. I have an american driving license from New York.

Is this valid in the UK. Can I exchange it or do I have to take all the tests?

Changing Euros into Pounds in the UK, where?

Hey, I am moving to the UK on Monday and need to change about 2700 Euros into Pounds.

What is the best place to do this? With the current exchange rate, I should be getting about 1800 and ideally I would like to get something around that.

Any suggestions as to where to go?

My relative is terrible for drink driving but denies she has a problem. I am fed up - and scared!

The other day we had to drive a long distance - 7.45 am she was drinking.

I want to shop her without her knowing. How do I go about this?

Ferries from Scotland to Iceland?

I want to go to Iceland and the UK, but the flight to Rekjavik is exorbitant. If I get a cheap ticket to London, take a train to Scotland, can i then take a ferry to Iceland for not too much money? And then how much from Iceland to Denmark? Thanks!
