Im going to Durham in May (The premier lodge is doing a good deal so i thought why not!) anyway back to my question!
Whats there to do there? what are the best restaurants and bars!
any places of interest?

See the castle and Cathedral, it is where they made parts of Harry Potter films.
Durham is a large county, not just a city!
Go boating of the river, see the moors, highforce, or the rugged East Durham coastline, That is where I live!
But get a tourist guide book from the city centre.

I heard Durham Cathedral (or is it Church) was meant to be quite spectacular. However that kind of thing aint my bag.
Where are you travelling from to go to Durham ? The people I've met from that area have all been really fun loving nice people... and the girls.... woot ! Have a nice time.
