UK here.
Because of time differences throughout the world, there are people from different continents on here at different times. Usually the people from Asian continent are on first, then it's Europe and then the Americas...though a lot of them appear to be here all the time!

I'm from the UK. Don't forget that America is much bigger than the UK so there's going to be a lot more Americans than Brits on here.
Use Answers in the morning (UK time) and you'll find a higher proportion of Brits because it's still night-time in the US.

I think you have to watch the time difference if you want to catch UK users at their best! i.e. UK morning/afternoon. The Americans tend to come on late afternoon/evening (UK time) when it's their morning/afternoon. The questions seem to get posted all over the place, so you must expect some American answers to any questions you post from the UK.

If you mean generally and not just at the moment, there are plenty of folks from the UK. I come across them all the time.
