I have noticed that British people don't like Americans. We have given them SOO Much, and they still hate us. Why is that? I think they are ungreatful, but that's just my opinion. Can anyone clarify this for me?

I'll be visiting London for the first time this summer and I'm just wondering which area is better to stay at? It would be nice to be close to attractions, yet having a nice area to stay. Any other suggustions are welcomed.

Do you have a working weblink to some statistical proof if you say you know the answer? It's another question that's been bugging me. Thanks!

I want to go to a certain event in Scotland, but I live in another country, on another continent. However, I am unable to purchase the tickets when they go on sale online, and I know that they will sell out within hours.
My question is, how will I get tickets for this event after they've sold out?
Say from a scalper, or someone who has bought them and cannot attend.

...are being treated over there? I know that there is a great deal of animosity felt by some people for geopolitical reasons...should I expect some degree of hostility from English people because they are strongly opposed to America's international policy?

I had a cheap package holiday in 2002 (my first ever abroad) and have not been able to afford another since. I also haven't taken a holiday in the UK where I live. I would like to hear from others in the same boat so I know I'm not alone.
