Both Penzance and Newquay are nice places to visit. Visit http://www.cornwalltouristboard.co.uk/ for holiday info on Cornwall. The Youth Hostel Association http://www.yha.org.uk/ have good, clean, reliable youth hostels staffed by professionals. Alternatively, Smooth Hound Systems http://www.smoothhound.co.uk/ lists good quality B&B's at a range of prices. Penzance is easier to get to by train http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ than Newquay. Although Newquay Airport http://www.newquay-airport.co.uk/ has more airlines flying to Newquay than to Penzance.

I've stayed in Penzance and Newquay in guesthouses and youth hostels travelling by train and plane. Both stays were very good so do your research to see what you want to do and how much you want to pay.

i know it's not cornwall but me and my partner stay in woolacombe in devon regulary at european park.you can camp there for £9 per night or stay in a wooden chalet for around £20.it is such a chilled out place and great value and i always come back feeling refreshed and looking forward to going back again.we are staying again for an easter break and can't wait to be there again xxx

3 nights in a caravan in Newquay for £90, less another tenner if you book online.

That works out at less than £15 a night each.

Perranporth is lovely. There is a Haven Caravan site and also have chalets. Try there. Hope you have a good time wherever you choose to go.
