The Scots don't have accents, they have brogues, as do the Irish....and they don't say yall...

Scotsmen speak English,but depending on what area you go to,the accent maybe stronger(Glasgow), people from Edinburgh speak with a more Queens english accent and is easier to understand.I'm sure you'll get by alright,your best watching the movies Train Spotting that'll give you all the Scottish accent you'll need.Goodluck.
Oh! and if you do watch it don't think that the movie portray's the real Scotland,Its a nice country.

Most Scottish accents are pretty soft, you'll only have a real problem with drunks. Drunks of any nationality are pretty hard to understand, it's not because they are Scottish drunks, it's because they are speaking gibberish.
