I mean the majority of Scots came from Ireland anyway so when the Scots went to Ireland they called themselves or what they are to be known Scots-Irish, or Scotch-Irish so basically they Scots-Irish are Irish in the first place & going to Ulster means going back to their roots right?

I mean Catholics are Native Irish and scots (picts) & Celtics, so when people say define Ulster-Scots or Sctoch-Irish it still means they are English ancestry right, so isnt it better just saying they are Anglo-Saxon heritage, as i said Native Irish are Cathlics ans so to Scottish Catholics are Picts, if this is inaccurrate could then someone tell me the facts, thanks.

Hi, I am going to blackpool for May bank holiday weekend (25th May) for two or three days. I don't want to spend too much on accomodation, a medium sized hotel or b&b would do - has anyone got any ideas? Has anyone had a nice experience anywhere?

I Would prefably prefer to be towards the North near the winter gardens as we are going watching chubby brown there.

Thanks!!

When I was growing up in Ferndale, Rhondda in the 1960s there was a record shop on the corner of High Street and ?Brook Street. It's a long shot I know but can anyone who knows give me the name of the shop. It was kept by an older woman who had a ''lazy" eye and wore glasses with on frosted lens.

Something interesting. Not like a museum or something, but something genuinely cool.

I feel like I will ' never ' get back there. I am living in Canada piled with debts. Probably going to file bankruptcy - but .. I did get two degrees and a college diploma out of it all. I should have just gone back when I was 24 and completed University there but I did it here and it feels like I will be stuck here forever. I have heard people say ' dont come back ' on yahoo answers. I really want to though - I miss it there- it is ALOT different over here in Canada - more like the states really. I want to move back there. I dont care about not being able to afford a house etc or a car- I just want meet an English girl and have a job etc..I dont care as long as I am there - I miss it ALOT

I have a question, if flats and houses are so expensive in London and the UK, wouldn't be a good solution to buy a piece of land and build your flat yourself? if you want to save on manpower you can build it with some friends, it may sound dumb, but that probably would be much cheaper, and then you can live on it and be mortgage free, I bet nobody thought about this before!, you may spend one year building your house without working and you'll be mortgage free for life!!!

Is that possible or am I just saying nonsense? why?
