China town is around the back of Leicester Square. Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus are right next to each other and within walking distance of Covent Garden also good for shopping, eating and theatres. For Oxford Street, it's also within walking distance of Leicester Square but i would recommend getting the tube to Oxford Circus or Bond Street if you are unsure of directions. Another way of getting around and sightseeing at the same time is one of those open top bus tours where you can hop on and hop off. Enjoy your time in London, it's a fantastic city.

I would say take a trip into China town, you will find something that matches your budget. DO NOT buy from them places who sell slices of pizza, they are awful and have been sat there all day.
Anyway why not give the Price Charles cinema a go? I believe it's about £2-3 quid to get in. Its on a side street off the square. I think where Haagen daz is.

There are a few pasta places around there - I think there's a Bella Pasta which can be as cheap or expensive as you make it. If you are really strapped for cash most of the fast food places are there... Take a look at Yellow Pages online (www.yell.com). Hope you find something and enjoy it!

Everybody is right - go to China Town just off the Square, don't eat in the square itself, if you really don't like Chinese head of toward Soho and you will find a number of reasonable Italians (restaurants that is) off Shaftsbury Ave - enjoy
