I saw a Travel channel special on Cornwall UK on cable yesterday and it looked like a great place to travel to....have you been there and is it really as wonderful as it looks?

Yes it is wild and beautiful with a great pace of life. I always think its like going back in time a bit when you are away from the major towns.
I can reccommend Tintagel the alleged site of King Arthurs Castle and all along the beautiful coastline. And don't miss a tradition Cornish pasty or cream tea!!!

My sister lives in Cornwall and I have visited many times. It is very beautiful. The best time is at the end of summer when the leaves are just turning colour. Some areas of Cornwall are absolutely breath taking.

I lived in Cornwall for a couple of years and yes it is beautiful. With the beaches and the woodlands, it is a stunning place to be. The pace of life seems to slow down aswell. It will always be my spiritual home.
