My family and I are thinking about taking a trip to San Diego over April Vacation and we were wondering if people usually find the jet lag to be a problem. We would be traveling with two kids (ages 16 and 10) from Boston to San Diego.

I'm not sure if I should enroll.....it sounds really great, but of course they always do!

Its a point system where for approximately $3,000.00 you have access to 4-5 star condos. all over the world . If you travel within 2 months of booking it will cost you 3,000 points plus about 280.00 for 7 nights at a 4-5 star condo.

You have this access forever, and all you pay is the 150.00 property tax per year. once the principle is paid off.

I've seen one of the condo's. and they are quite beautiful with flat screen t.v. fireplace, and dishwasher, all ammenities included.

The point system is set up so that it can roll over for a max. of 4 years. than after that you loose your first year points. which is only 3,000 points or 1 week stay.

If anyone can give me advice please do so....because i don't want to pay aprox. $4,000.00 than regret it later!

Thank you in advance!

When I was 17 I decided to set a challenge to see 30 countries before the age of 30 (I have a few months left)
Below is a list of all the places been, I know most of them are stupidly obvious but its amazing how many varied answers are received from people.
Which in the list below, are classed as a 'country' - and not ruled by another country etc.

1) Scotland
2) Wales
3) Ireland
4) Jersey
5) Iceland
6) Norway
7) Sweden
8) Denmark
9) Spain
10) France
11) Netherlands
12) Germany
13) Italy
14) Greece
15) Austria
16) Lanzarote (Canary Islands)
17) Cyprus
18) America
19) Canada
20) South Africa
21) Australia
22) New Zealand
23) Hong Kong
24) China
25) Singapore
26) Malaysia
27) Indonesia
28) Tunisia
29) Vatican City

Okay thats the list, I'm sure a few can be removed from that but need to know for certain which ones....

I want to travel as light as possible. Will be visiting my son and don't want to be bogged down with suitcases. Most of time don't even wear what I've packed.

I'm not talking five star hotels. Planning on using mostly Comfort Inns or other similarly priced motels. Will the motel require a credit card when I check in, or do they still accept good old cash?

I am a 16 year old girl, and I'm going to Italy for two weeks in January. I have a lot of questions about what to wear:
1. What kind of jackets?
2. What kind of shoes? Boots? Walking boots?
3. Pants?
4. Scarves? Gloves? Hats?

Also, where do you suggest I get these clothes?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

My parents keep bugging me about putting together a Christmas list but most of my needs are traveling expenses. It's obviously too much to ask for a $1500 trip to San Francisco for Christmas but are there any types of gifts certificates or what-nots that my parents could purchase that could reduce my traveling expenses?

Per day per person- What we figured (being generous)
$100 US- Food
$650 US- Hotel

$80 US- Taj Trip
+12 tax
$1072- Total trip per person for 10 days

Were is the other $500 he is asking for per person???

I am confused as most webpages say you don't need a passport to move around the EU but why then do we need a passport if we are travelling within the EU? I just don't get it at all. We want to go on holiday but half the blooming budget is taken up with the cots of 3 passports!
Thanks
