10,000 dollars not a single dime more, however if you do, they will ask you to fill a few forms and pay taxes on it!!!

We can't answer your question without knowing where you are going to.

But in general, you can legally travel with as much cash as you want. But you are required to declare it if it is excessive. In many places that is $10,000, but some poorer nations it could be less. For the most part, you shouldn't need to carry cash when you have bank cards and credit cards.

You can take as much as you want. But any amount of 10,000 USD and over, must be declared at Customs.
