Dear Friends,
Please provide me with some info on how to book a low budget flight from Istanbul to Izmir. I will be in Istanbul in June. Onur Air web site is down most of the time. I cannot book online through atlas air also. What about traveling by ferry to Bandirma and then taking the bus to Izmir. I heard that is the fastest way after flying. Please help.

I cancelled my Bonus Card due to Annual Fee. Do you know what else is horrible? I use all services from the same bank. I paid many unfair fees, I paid many interest for the credit I used. I use 300 to 600 YTL every month. They have paid back that annual fee to many of my friends in my office. But they did not to me. So I cancelled it and need a new bank that can supply me a credit card without annual fee? Do you know any?

said in his interview a few days ago that Turkey should invade N.Iraq in order to destroy the Kourdish rebels who fight in Turkey and then hide in Iraq?Is it also true that he indirectly said that the turkish prime minister should not run for President because he is not Kemalist? Is it true that the turkish army is often meddle in turkish politics?I am not trying to say anything, don't get me wrong, but I want to intercross it with what I read in the newspapers.

Thousands have supported this today!Protesting against fanatism and islamists, trying to keep Kemal Atatürk's dream alive.
This is Turkey that I, as a Greek and as a neighboor dream of too.

Do you share this dream?

Don't you think it is high time we proved that Turkey will never be a country which is ruled by religion and that we,secularist ones, are more powerful than the Islamists reckon and we are bored with all that religious arguments used by our politicians?
Don't you think it is vital we join the great meeting in Ankara on 14th April.

My father's old work firiend's husband will join to the army. And guess where? To Hakkari, Çukurca! He is person who did his master. He is married and his wife is pregnant..And as my father told, in the list, most of the men were sent to east..

Isn't that unfair? They send the people who don't know anything about being a soldier..And I'm scared of terrorists..

What do u think?

My significant other and I will are planning to visit Istabul and some beach resort next month. I read in a previous question that 4 & 5* hotels can be as low as $60 a night. Any advice on where to book these? Going to the Four Seasons and Novotel sites showed $170/night. Any advice on beach resorts too?

I have lived & worked in Turkey for many years & the great % of answers here are either guesses by people that don't know or have never been here or know it all expats that think they know it all. I think if you don't know the 100% correct answer then you could do some serious harm, cause people unnecessary grief & expenditure plus insult the Turkish people people. If you dont know the 100% correct answer then i think you should not answer.
