My significant other and I will are planning to visit Istabul and some beach resort next month. I read in a previous question that 4 & 5* hotels can be as low as $60 a night. Any advice on where to book these? Going to the Four Seasons and Novotel sites showed $170/night. Any advice on beach resorts too?

You will see same sort of prices in most of the web sites which are the rack rate. You should make your reservation through a travel agency or a corporate. I would recommend you to visit their web pages, pick the ones you like and go to an agent with a hotel list in your hand. Hope it helps.

We stayed at The Empire Palace, which is a member of the Best Western chain. We found it very comfortable. It's in the old part of the city and about five minutes stroll from the Blue Mosque, Spice Market, Topkapi Palace and all the other attractions. But where-ever you chose to stay enjoy.
