I remember, when I was only 16, I had an accident on my motorcycle on one of the dangerous roads ( you know, the roads with many bends, on aegean big hills,nearby the coast...)
Because of speed, I get out of the road,, and I fell with my motorcycle...Thanks God, my fall was stopped by a fir tree which prevented me to die, while my motorcycle fell 50 m down in a ravine...

A few minutes later, a driver saw me and called an ambulance...
And I had only just a few slight injuriess on my knees and arms...
It was a miracle...

Have you already lived a similar situation ?...

I have two..They are 'Orhan Pamuk - Benim Adım Kırmızı' and the other is 'Turgut Özakman - Şu Çılgın Türkler'

I liked 'Benim Adım Kırmızı' because I loved his writing style and its ending..
And I think I don't need to explain why I liked 'Şu Çılgın Türkler' ;-)

In Europe the divorce rates are really high (alomost 1 divorce every 3 marriages)
In Greece things are better but not good enough (divorcing rate is almost 20%)

How do you feel about this?

I was going to ask this before, he makes beautiful movies like "Duvara Karşı" and "Temmuzda", movies with vivid scenes carved into my memory. I think he can qualify as one of the best turkish directors together with Yavuz Tugrul.

this year i went to turkey for a holiday,and iv been to bodrum and marmaris.But when i went to didim altinkum it was totally a diffrent picture.the roads are in a right mess. and there there are old tatty buildings scattered around which makes the place look like an old shanty town.there is also alot of construction work going on.
but it was busy in july.i don't see what it is about the place that makes people go their for holidays or to even buy apartments. when you have better resorts like fethiye,side, bodrum and marmaris.

Armenians, whats your opinion on Turkish girls?
i know an armenian boy from our school his friends told me he likes me . i like him too. he has beautiful black eyes and curls. he is just my type . the thing is he doesn't know i am turkish. his friends tells me he is armenian but it wudnt bother him at all. i am worrying he might not like me when he learns i am turkish. i am ok with he is armenian but i know armenians have some strong fanatic believes about turkish people. what should i do! will he be open minded as much as iam?:(

I want to work in a part-time job but I'm afraid to tell this to my parents because they may find this stupid..So I'm asking u first :-) And I'm asking this to this section because Turkish parents and foreign parents think in different ways.
And in ur opinion, where should I find a job in Istanbul; for example in a cafe or somewhere else?
