His companion's hijab isn't any one's business enterprise organization yet hers. Bombing Gaza's hospitals, faculties, etc isn't "anti-terrorism efforts". And he's now not retaining the strikes of Hamas, so your assessment with "the Israeli president retaining the strikes of PKK" isn't ordinary. Having stated all that, i think of of his protest grew to grow to be perfect right into a infantile spectacle. you're able to't get emotional in international kin. There are appropriate strategies of protecting your stance. As a Turkish toddler-kisser stated on the instant, Erdogan expressed the main suitable view contained interior the wrongest actual way. this may be a great blow to Turkish-Israeli kin, and there'll actually be repercussions (taking off, optimal probably, with American popularity of the Armenian genocide this coming April). Erdogan might are growing to be the Arab international's hero now, yet he has located his very own u . s . a . in a annoying spot.

"They say laicism is in danger. Of course, laicism will go if the people demands it!"
I just wonder which people he is talking about. The people of the Capitol Hill? The sheiks of Saudi Arabia? Cos, it sure ain't the Turkish people!
And for above posters, if there is a success in economy, which I doubt very much, because Erdogan's policies are all for the capital, not the people, the success belongs to the economic program Kemal Dervis prepared after the crisis in 2001. You know, the Dervis that Erdogan vilified in his election campaign. The Dervis who is talked about as a candidate for the next president of the World Bank.
The only good thing Erdogan did was to follow the program, which any party who won the election would do.
Erdogan is a lousy politician, and that is that.

I 'm not a Turk, I cannot understand Turkish and I don't know any of Erdogan's quotes (since they are not mentioned by international media). However, I 'd suggest to take a look at OECD figures about the development of the turkish economy during his administration. Quite unusual, such a loud-mouthed to achieve so much.

"Democracy is a tram for us. We get out when we reach our destination.(Islamic state)" The worst thing among the worst, ruins 99% of his credibility.
qwer_red: it is true that economically akp was highly successful and I would regard them as good politicians but they have an islamist background and turks don't want to live in an iranian like country, really.

As long as ı follow the developments in Turkey from CNN, Turkey's national income was only around 180 billion US Dollars before him and now It is now around 350 billion US Dollars. This means that you have a very successful leader. We need to learn observing the leader's performances. If you had asked me to list Bush's latest blunder's that made us mad I would make a list here. So, just observe economical developments of your country and enjoy life...
Good Luck!
