Well, I heard the mechanic in a car place telling a woman that some wiring in her car had been chewed up by squirrels! We were all surprised that it was possible. So, I just wondered what people could do to squirrel-proof their yard.
I had all kinds of responses from people asking me to move to Australia where they have no squirrels, so he said, to someone trying to "get smart" telling me to move to the city. But one answer was good and I chose that one. He said to sprinkle cayenne pepper in the places where I wanted the squirrels to stay away from. Their feet would touch the pepper and when they try to use the front paws to hold onto food to eat, they can taste the "spiciness" and would then avoid those areas. My teenage son said he thinks that's true because his Science teacher said only birds cannot taste cayenne pepper or chili peppers. Other creatures can taste them. So that started my new hobby of answering and asking at this site. Hope that answers your question.

probably why is yahoo answers so boring! Now I'm like addicted.
I'm just gonna have a look actually...
Oh I remember I thought it was full of old people so I asked...
Who is the oldest person on this and who is the youngest?
but now there's loads of teenagers and everyone.
Then I asked two questions about Big Brother people because it had just finished when I joined (and now it has just started!!)
The questions were...
Do you think it's good that nikki is getting a tv show? (off BB)?
Does any one like spirals song (from BB)?

Mine was: "You are standing on the bank of a turbulent river and you see a Rembrandt and a little kitten pass by. You can only save one of them which one would you choose?". I put the question in the pets category and the kitten won. But it would have ben interesting to see the response if I put it in the art category.
